Colonel Johnny Lyon was one of the better Texas Country singers and one of the finer gentlemen to ever serve his country.
ReplyDeleteHe was my ROTC instructor at Southwest Texas State University in 1971. He taught me very much and in later years we became good friends. Johnny was generous to a fault.
